Description: Design of the "Paleshet Triangle" and 40 km of supplementary track doubling on the railway line between Lod and Ashkelon

Amy Metom Role in the Project: Lead Designer. Upgrade and doubling of the railway track between Lod and Ashkelon, executed in several sections through the year 2005 (Lod-Rehovot, Paleshet-Ashdod and Ashdod-Ashkelon) including a complex (3-part) track system at the Paleshet Junction and connection between the Tel Aviv-Rishon Lezion rail line and the Rehovot-Ashdod-Ashkelon line.
