Description: Economic transportation feasibility study of the rail arc connecting Modi'in and Jerusalem, as part of the A1 track alignment. The project is 2.5 km long, and shown to be distinctly feasible.

Amy Metom Role in the Project: Preparation of a transportation model and an economic model in order to assess the benefits and costs of the project.

Unique Elements of the Project: The project was assesed according to the Transportation Project Appraisal Procedure 2006, and incuded an update of the costs of infrastructure maintainance, prepared in cooperation with Israel Railways.
